Leverage Scarcity to Sell More Products

I was browsing an old copy of the magazine Wildlife Art when I saw an advertisement for limited edition prints for a specific artist.

At the top of the ad were thumbnails of 5 of his previous works, and every one had the words, “GONE” in red stamped on top of them.
The headline read, “Joe Smiths restricted edition prints are the most endangered species.”
Next was a big image of the print theyre presently offering, and beneath that was the sub-headline, “Better get this one prior to its gone.”
Obviously, this got me thinking how this same technique may be utilized in IM. What if we showed images of our last 5 programs (presuming they are no longer readily available) and then used similar phrasing to show that time was short and clients much better act fast?
Its absolutely something to test– and I believe it might be rather effective.
It could be finished with affiliate items too, if you show the product developers previous offerings that are no longer offered.
In another copy of Wildlife Art, I discovered this headline: “Only.000042% of the worlds population has the opportunity to own this.”
Showing prominently is a photo of the planet to bring home the point that so few people will get to own one of these limited-edition prints.
This might be exceptionally efficient phrasing if you are offering a product with a finite number of copies readily available.
